TONGA MAN AND WIFE

A N'Anga is a traditional healer whose services are still much in demand in Zimbabwe. Note the Bateleur Eagle feather in his headdress. The Bateleur Eagle is God's messenger. Although only 8" high, the pair seem to be larger that they actually are because of the skill and detailing that Farai gives to each piece he creates. The wife has a wonderful expression of both devotion and pride. They seem connected.
