Go to the shopWe discovered this sculptor in January 2020, a month before COVID changed our lives for awhile. His work has a delightful rhythm and interrupted symmetry from his treatments of the necks and the positioning of the heads of the storks. Cleverly, he chooses to leave most of the carving unpolished, only polishing the eyes and the top of the beaks. The sinuous birds seem to undulate in a ballet without music.
