Jaidie is probably the best animal sculptor in Zimbabwe, not least because he has successfully carved most of the major African animals many, many times.
We loved this piece.Jaidie has captured the nurturing awareness of a mother whilst suckling her baby. She remains ever alert to danger whilst her youngster suckles. All of her senses are switched on.
