Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
The Crisson and Hind African Gallery is located in Bermuda and we have been in business since 1999. During the last 22 years, we have successfully shipped artworks to our clients worldwide! We work with DHL shipping services which offers a very attractive shipping rate to us which we pass on to our customers0.
We expertly pack all pieces and the shipping cost is based on size and weight. Smaller items are available with a fixed priced option through DHL to the continental U.S. A fixed price option is also available for items shipped internationally once the destination is known. Shipping large pieces is calculated on a case by case basis. This is because a custom crate may be needed and, as the buyer, you are responsible for all shipping costs including crating and insurance. Once you place your order, we will contact you directly to discuss shipping arrangements.
Our policy is to always add insurance to the shipping costs to protect against any damages. Every shipment is insured through DHL and the rate is 2% of the combined cost of the item and the shipping rate. The Gallery has no control of extra costs such as fuel surcharges etc. The Crisson and Hind African Gallery is not responsible for artworks damaged by the shipping carrier but we will file a claim with DHL if you provide the required documentation and photographs. All damaged items must be reported to us within 3 days of delivery.
The carrier cost is dependent on the shipping destination, as well as its packaging and handling requirements. The Crisson and Hind African Gallery is not responsible for carrier delays due to adverse weather conditions or any other unavoidable situations that may result in the carrier being unable to deliver packages.
Refund and Return Policy
We have taken great care to provide our customers with an excellent presentation of our stone sculptures in a 360 view on screen so that a judgement on purchasing can be made. We also provide the dimensions and the weight of each object. We recognize that screen colors are not consistent across all devices, so we are happy to provide additional photographs or videos. All sales are final, and we do not accept refunds and returns of the shipped sculpture.
